Mention the name of any great world lawyer; and I will show you the greatest African-Ghanaian lawyer of all times.
Ghana; is among the world countries, that are blessed with many world class, and highly skilled brains.
One of these lawyer, is Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata, the unbeatable lawyer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata is well respected Ghanaian politician and lawyer. He is blessed with great law qualities like good communication and analytical skills; research and people skills, good Judgement, perseverance, legal creativity, and many more great and uneatable legal qualities most lawyers lack.
In the Supreme Court of Ghana, Lawyer Tsikata’s patience, confidence, speaking skills, his presentation, firmness, responsiveness, emotional balance skills, and legal organisation makes it very tough for his opponents to bring him down.
With these enviable and incomparable qualities, some Ghanaians believe; and hold the views, that Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata is the law. This means he is a walking law by himself. According to them, no lawyer in Ghana has the legal strength to bring him down in the law court; except through corrupt rulings.
The world indeed could witness the powers and legal skills of Mr. Tsikata, during the 2020 election petitions between the National Democratic Congress (NDC), versus the Electoral Commission of Ghana and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Some Ghanaians; after the election petition 2020 concluded that, with the legal greatness exhibited by Lawyer Tsikata for John Mahama, no lawyer or any the Supreme Court judge could intimidate him. ‘He is simply a formidable lawyer in Ghana and in Africa’.
It was also revealed; that all the 7 Supreme Court justices who sat on the ‘2020 Election petition panel’, were past students of Lawyer Tsatsu, at the Ghana School of Law; and that could be one main reason why the judges could not simply ‘hold him down’, or control him.
Those lucky ones who watched him live on TV; during the 2020 election petitions at the Supreme Court, saw how he single handedly ‘wind’ the lawyers of the Electoral Commission of Ghana; and also that of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
We also witnessed his legal interpretation skills; where he reads, brings out and explained the meanings of the Ghanaian’s laws.
In a very brief term; when we say lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata is the law, we mean he is a fearsome, great, powerful and a tough lawyer. He is simply the best in Ghana.
