LIV vs ARS: How Mikel Arteta can setup his team to Inflict Defeat on Liverpool in the Premier League

Oleksandr Zinchenko, Arsenal’s left-back, is likely to pass a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League match against Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Anfield.

The Ukraine international was unavailable for selection in the Gunners’ Europa League match against Bodo/Glimt on Wednesday owing to precautionary concerns.

Despite some misgivings, he played against Antonio Conte’s Tottenham last weekend, and the ex-Manchester City defender should be able to shake off his ailment and relegate Kierney to the bench for Sunday’s meeting.

Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli, and Granit Xhaka all played in the North Londoners’ European clash in midweek, which they won 3-0 thanks to goals from Fabio Vieira, Eddie Nketiah, and Rob Holding to stay atop their group; the above-mentioned trio are unlikely to be rested and will be recalled to the starting XI.

Gabriel Jesus, who has scored five goals in eight league outings for Arsenal, will be eager and confident to add to his total for the Gunners, as the Brazil international is poised to lead the line.

If Klopp uses the same system he used against Rangers in the UEFA Champions League, which saw him employ two central midfielders instead of three, club captain Martin Odegaard will be looking to open up with his passes. Arteta might also consider Fabio Vieira.

Both Bukayo Saka and Martinelli are in the running to attack the sides.

Ben White, the birthday boy, will step in as the right back to assist block Luis Diaz’s threats, alongside William Saliba.
