Accra Hearts of Oak are set to face AS Real Bamako in the second preliminary round of the CAF Conference Cup today.
The Accra based side have already touched down and trained at the facility of their hosts AS Real Bamako and it is expected that the colourful team from Ghana register their footprints in the home of the Malians.
Coach David Ocloo will handle his first game in charge of Hearts of Oak after being handed an interim coach appointment.
It is expected that Hearts of Oak will line up in a 4-4-2 formation with Daniel Barnieh and new signing Junior Kaaba leading the lines.
Daniel Barnieh’s form could be crucial to Hearts of Oak’s qualification to the next and final preliminary round of the CAF Conference Cup. The player has risen through the ranks by scoring important goals with his recent one being the goal that sent the Black Galaxies to the CHAN tournament.
Barnieh remains a threat for opposing teams and his form could truly determine the outcome of the game today.
