Dennis Miracles Aboagye, a communicator for the ruling NPP has revealed that, the real enablers of galamsey is the NDC government. He showed various videos of how the NDC promised to allow people to engage in galamsey.

The NDC comes on TV to run down the government on how it’s failing in the fight, and then they go to the communities to tell them to vote out the government so they would come and allow them continue the illegality which is destroying our natural water bodies.
He explained that in first video, John Mahama tells a crowd on his plans to release all jailed galamseyers so they go back and engage in it even more for the sustainability of their families.
He also explained that in the second video, Deputy National Comms officer of the NDC (Kwaku Boahen) and the Parliamentary candidate of the NDC tell the galamseyers right in the act and in the pit to come out and vote against Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in order to save their illegal mining.
They continue to charge the galamseyers to ensure the government loses the elections because their continuous stay in office wld end the illegal mining.
Parliamentary candidates reminds the young men about the fact that he’s a known galamseyers himself and immediately he and H.E JDM are named winners in the elections, they should be sure no military task force would ever bother them at their illegal sites ever again.
Earlier speaker told them galamseyers, “Politics came to meet Galamsey and we in the NDC would not allow the NPP to Collapse this enterprise that we have been doing since the days of old”
Dear Ghana, how would any government win a fight against such a social canker if the biggest opposition party moves around promising the people to vote for them so they allow them to continue. Dennis added.
“If you want the real enablers of the Galamsey menace and want to understand why the country is struggling to stamp it out, know that, there’s an alternative promising the continuity of the canker.” He added.
This notwithstanding, things government won’t stop this fight until we prevail. Slowly but steadily we shall rise.
