“Body enhancement will kill you. I’m Lucky To Be Alive”- Vera Sidika says after releasing her assets

Vera Sidika Mung’asia is a Kenyan television and social media personality, celebrity, video vixen entrepreneur, and socialite. Born and raised in Mombasa, Sidika gained media attention in her career when she appeared in P-Unit’s single, “You Guy”, released in 2012.

The Kenyan celebrity and businesswoman Vera Sidika has shocked the internet and opened up about her surgery which has changed the body enhancement surgery she underwent many years ago. Vera, who is a mother of one child claimed that the journey to change her body to what it was before, was not an easy step. According to her, she had to undergo a surgery because the initial surgery to change her body, caused her problems later, health problems.

Vera revealed through Instagram, the pain she went through to maintain the fake body.

Speaking directly to her 2.2 million Instagram followers, she revealed that the surgery to strengthen her body was ill-advised and that she had to undergo reconstructive surgery after ‘numerous health risks and complications’.

“This has been the most difficult phase in my life. Due to the health risk, I had to undergo surgery. It’s still unbelievable but I’ve come to terms with it and learned to love myself regardless. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much,” Vera Sidika said.

She also used her platform to advise women who wish to undergo any physical surgery to think twice, and accept their bodies, and remain as they are because the surgery will cause them problems in the future.

She concluded by promising her followers to share her surgery journey with them, and with any woman considering breast augmentation surgery.

“I will post my travel videos here for those who have been thinking about having hip surgery or changing anything in their body. This may change your mind,” he captioned the lengthy post.

Few hours later, she dropped a video with this caption:

Here in Ghana, most celebrities who have undergone body enhancement surgeries decide to keep it “lowkey” as they do it off-camera. Kisa Gbekle and Nana Ama McBrown are few names that were able to open up on such issues.

With some recommending the act, and others doing otherwise, the question to ask yourself is, why the need for body enhancement?
