Accra Hearts of Oak to depart Ghana Thursday for the CAF Confederation Cup game in Mali on Saturday

Record winners of the FA Cup competition in Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak, will depart the capital on Thursday ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup game in Mali at the weekend.

The Phobians, will take on Real Bamako in a first round first leg encounter on Saturday afternoon in the Malian capital.

Hearts of Oak are expected to arrive in Bamako later tomorrow for the game at the weekend, as they look to earn a good result in this fixture.

The Phobians, are the only Ghanaian club left in African competition after the exit of Asante Kotoko from the African Champions League competition last month.

Hearts of Oak will hope to hoist the flag of Ghana high in continental action this season, and, a good result on Saturday, will set them on course towards achieving their aim.

The return encounter will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium next week Sunday where, the Phobians will look to gain qualification to the next round of the campaign.
