Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the appointment of Coach Dickson Ocloo as their interim manager. The Phobians parted ways with their head coach, Samuel Boadu after a streak of winless games this season.
According to the press release statement, Coach Dickson Ocloo will act as the interim head coach until the appointment of a substantive head coach while Dickson Ocloo reverts to the assistant coach position.
Dickson Ocloo has a rich management history with a stint at Liberty professionals, Wa All Stars, Sahel Sporting club and even rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko. He also holds CAF License A, B and C coaching certificates.
Meanwhile, the club have also announced the appointment of Richard Oppong as the new goalkeeper’s coach.Â
Sources close to the club have revealed that the appointment of Dickson Ocloo and Richard Oppong are part of their bigger picture and the plan to have the club become one of the successful clubs in Ghana and even across Africa.
The club has since the appointment advised fans to offer the needed support to their new interim coach.
