Upcoming rapper Derrick Osei Kuffour Prempeh known well as Kofi Jamar says he’s working hard to acquire new fans across Africa and the whole world.
Kofi Jumar is a Kumasi-based rapper who is best known for his hit song Ekorso which evolved from the viral Kumerica/Asaaka trend and features Yaw Tog and YPee. In 2021, he was in nomination in seven categories at the Vodafone Ghana Awards but won none.

Kofi Jamar in an interview has said that he is currently working hard to gain more fans across the globe because they are some people out there who fall in love with his song every day.

“There are new fans across the whole of Africa and the world that every day gets in love with my songs who have now become new fans for me,” he told Amansan Krakye in an interview.

Speaking about his music career and some of his exploits, Kofi Jamar said he’s now covering new grounds because his kind of music isn’t for Ghanaians alone.

“I’m covering new grounds so if you haven’t heard from me no problem but I’m getting the song to you and that’s what I’m concerned about, besides it is not only Ghanaians that we do the songs for,” Kofi Jamar said.
“I have people who have also heard of me but they are yet not fans of me and they don’t go searching for my music but feel that they haven’t heard of me on the radio or somewhere but I’m still working,” he added on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM Drive.
