Seasoned Ghanaian High-Life musician, Tic Tac has suggested that staying relevant in the entertainment industry comes with a lot of sacrifices.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Yaw Gyebi of Adwumapa Mbre on Connect 97.1 FM, the singer stated that a lot has to go into one’s craft if he or she wants to remain on top of his game.
Tic Tac added that a passionate and focused person specializing his profession in music has to work on identifying his aptitudes which contributes enormously to making him unique.
“Staying relevant in the music industry comes with a lot of attributes. It’s not just making the music but what you are doing. What kind of music are you putting out, and how do you want people to see you even the kind of people you associate yourself with.”
He went ahead to set it straight that a musician has to go all out and own his craft, pray fervently to God for wisdom, seek advice from masterminds, and also stay away from negative energy and show genuine love.
“You have to be able to make the right decisions and have genuine people to advise you. Above all, pray. Ask God for your wisdom, stay away from bad energies and learn to show love.”
