At the peak of the heated debates between NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi and NPP’s Dennis Miracles Aboagye, several comments were made by the two.
According to Dennis Miracles Aboagye, NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi keeps misleading the country if he keeps saying that his government completed 50 schools. He explained that he would continue to shout in the studios as long as Sammy Gyamfi keeps telling lies.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye explained that his research at the Parliament revealed that the NDC completed 29 schools and the NPP has done 30 so far.
Dennis explained any amount borrowed by the government is used to satisfy the basic needs of citizens as well as to ensure a better economy.
Sammy Gyamfi rebutted comments by Dennis Miracles Aboagye and stated that due to the extent of harm already caused, not even a USD 1.2billion cocoa syndicated loan can turn the fortunes of the economy.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, the country’s dollar rate will hit GH11 in a week or two. His comments have attracted wild reactions from a section of Ghanaians as they have blasted him for his comments.
