Massive Reactions As Immigration Boss Sues TV3 And Johnnie Hughes, Demanding ¢20m

News coming in indicates that the Comptroller General of the Ghana Immigration Service, Kwame Asuah Takyi has slapped Johnnie Hughes, presenter at TV3 and also the managers of Media General with GHC20 million defamatory suit.

According to the Immigration boss, the host of TV3 New Day show, Johnnie Hughes has made several allegations against which are all false. He added that such allegations made by the journalist have tarnished his image and lowered his reputation in the right thinking of members of the public.

He is therefore urging the court to order Johnnie Hughes and the media house to retract and delete such comments from it various media platforms. He also wants the story pull down with the links deleted from all search engines the publication made by the second defendant. Above all, he demands ¢20 million from the media house as compensation.
