Following the Senior National Soccer Team, the Black Stars of Ghana’s one goal win over the Nicaraguans, in Spain, ex-Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, known by many as Baby Jet has shared his frustration on the midfielders inability to cut through with good passes to the forwards in the final third.
Gyan, who is the current top scorer of the National Team cannot tell why would a striker make moves up front and no midfielder seemed to pass them the ball to score.
The Ghanaian skipper revealed this on his social media page.
He mentioned, “ A striker makes a good run and no pass.Very frustrating” Gyan claimed.
Many football fanatics are of the view that the Ghana team has a lot of quality in the squad. However, the midfielders reluctant to give the ball quickly enough to open the opponents defense wide is a problem identified and needs to be attended to before the Mundial in Qatar.
The former Black Stars man feels a lot needs to be done as far as the transition from midfield to the upfront is concerned.
