The host of the morning program made some observations regarding the peculiar events that took place at the Saturday Global Citizen Festival event at Independence Square.
Johnnie praised the organizers for their excellent work and called the performance excellent and lovely. He did, however, express the hope that the program’s two main themes, the fight against poverty and climate change would continue.
Johnnie argued that the President had let down his detractors by receiving their boos. The same men who voted to put him in office were these individuals.
You could have avoided such humiliation if the national security had done its job properly and realized that the grounds weren’t secure for you.
He concluded saying; “Is the time you speak to the people. Since you didn’t, this is what they will also do to you.”
