The member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu constituency, John Abdulai Jinapor, who doubles as the former deputy minister of energy, has sent some messages to the governing New Patriotic Party.
Speaking on Okay FM this morning, John Jinapor clearly revealed the NPP should stop blaming John Dramani Mahama for the ‘mess’ they have created for themselves. According to him, John Mahama left a good economy with low inflation rate for the Akufo Addo led administration. However, this administration still blame John Mahama for the current hardships they find themselves in.
He added that this administration still blames John Mahama for making some deals with certain energy supplying companies. According to him, the agreement the NDC made with the companies were necessary and even helped the economy. He also added that this administration has even expanded such deals on the same agreement they criticised the NDC about years ago.
He believes that it is time for this government to sit down and plan for the betterment of the Ghanaian public and stop these ‘attacks’ on John Mahama.
“You have signed L and G plant in Tema. It is a take or pay agreement. So this issue on John Mahama will not solve our economic problems. You keep blaming John Mahama each and every day without fixing the country instead. Do you think that if you attack John Mahama using the media, this will be solved?” he said.
