The Larger part Pioneer in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has expressed the Public Majority rule Congress (NDC) flagbearer for the 2020 races John Dramani Mahama’s guarantee to survey a few arrangements of Article 71 in the 1992 constitution is only a political trick.

Talking on Kumasi-based radio OTEC FM’s morning program facilitated by Skipper Koda on Monday September 9,2022, the Larger part Pioneer who serves as the Clergyman for Parliamentary Undertakings addressed why Mr Mahama didn’t audit the law during his residency as President, blaming him for neglecting to carry out the proposals of the Constitution Survey Commission in 2012.
“What previous President Mahama is talking about today can’t be treated in a serious way since he has proactively bombed Ghanaians on this,” he said.
Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu demanded that previous President John Mahama can only with significant effort audit payments for political office holders under Article 71 of the 1992 Constitution.
He said albeit the Sacred Audit
Commission (CRC) can propose the change, Parliament could require around a half year to consider on it prior to sending permitting Ghanaians to choose in a mandate.

Mr Mahama said “The main installment that was made to me by government, Bookkeeper General, was my compensation overdue debts of 230,000 cedis in 2013.
