Black Stars: First Eleven Not A Guarantee For Some Big Names In The Squad

Ghanaians react to Black Stars' 27-man squad to face Nigeria in the World Cup playoffs

The Black Stars are in action this Friday as the team steps up preparation for the upcoming world cup in Qatar.

Coach Otto Addo will be given the mandate to name a 26 squad list for the World Cup. However, positions for first team action are not guaranteed for some of the big names in the squad.

According to sources close to the camp, players like Jordan Ayew and Daniel Amartey are set to fight for their positions together with the new players, Inaki Williams and Mohammed Salisu.

It is believed that the match against Brazil and the subsequent one against Nicaragua are deemed to justify your inclusion for some players of the squad.

With a big squad like the current one chosen by the coach, it will be exciting to see how Otto Addo manages to field a strong first eleven without being biased.

Coach Otto Addo has so far opted for the 3-4-3/3-4-1-2 formation with the Black Stars.
