Residents of Ohukrom, a farming community in the Sunyani East Municipality of the Bono Region have called on their Municipal Cheif Executive, Hon. Ansu Kumi to provide them a health facility to help save human lives in the area. They made this appeal during the familiarization tour by Hon. Ansu Kumi.
According to the residents, the lack of good accessible roads is making transportation of patients to other communities for health care a very difficult one for them. Therefore, the MCE should ensure to make the road motorable.
They disclosed to Sikahemaa Jasmin of Moonlite FM, after the matter becames serious when pregnant woman in labour was taken to hospital for delivery on their poor road.
They also complained that, the community is also lacking electricity power as well as teacher’s quarters which they urged the MCE, Government and philanthropist to come to their aid to provide for the Ohukrom community some common social amenities to relieve them of their challenges.
