Members of the Jaman South Dagaaba Association in the Bono Region have expressed their gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare.
The Association indicated that the police boss allegedly helped them in his role that led to the arrest and prosecution of the Assemblyman for the Bibianiha Electoral Area in the Jaman South Municipality, Hon Simmon Bonsu and two others.

According to Mr Kyepag Boniface,Spokesman for the Association the Inspector General of Police deserves commendation for his utmost support and cooperation that have been showing signs of fair deal in the alleged murder case on September 10 2022. at Babianiha.
Where one of their brothers Mr. Dery Francis was lynched to death in the Jaman South Municipality of the Bono Region of Ghana .
The Dagaaba Association and the entire northerners in the area wishes to thank you very much for mirroring up justice at this gesture, the Association hailed the police boss.
The spokesman said when the alleged murder case was initially reported the Association was not happy about the manner the case was been handled.
Stressing that it was due to the alleged suspicion hence they wrote and drew the attention of Dr George Akuffo Dampare’s for his intervention.
Boniface underscored that members of the Association were happy at the Sunyani High Court when the case took off at the first time.
The spokesman alleged that the several questions that the Presiding Judge asked the prosecutor on why they failed to process the case at the Drobo circuit but rather preferred Sunyani High Court among others made them to get relief.
Mr Kyepag Boniface also indicated that it further became obvious to them that Dr George Akuffo Dampare worked out on their letter.
Meanwhile the case has since been adjourned to Tuesday September 20 2022 .
Whilst the Assemblyman Hon Simmon Obeng and the two other accomplices in the alleged murder case Kwesi Ankomah and Kwesi Nketia have been remanded in prison custodyÂ

The said publication allegedly implicated Hon Simmon Obeng and other youth to have been arrested on murder charge.
The deceased who was allegedly murdered was named as Dery Francis (aka Abdul Waale).
He was arrested on an alleged suspicion that he may be one of the alleged notorious armed robbers who operates in the area.
The reports alleged that when he was arrested the youth subjected him to severe beatings to point of death and dumped under an alleged instructions from the Assemblyman.
