Asante Kotoko striker Frank Etouga Mbella has arrived in Cairo, Egypt as he nears a move to local side Al-Masry.
The Cameroonian is expected to seal a lucrative move to the Egyptian Premier League side after a season with Asante Kotoko in Ghana.
According to local reports, the deal is worth $400,000 with the player expected to earn $25,000 a month.
The money from this deal, will add to the account of the Porcupines who have been doing good business during the transfer window.
Mbella, scored 21 goals in 30 matches for Asante Kotoko last season as they won the title by a mile and, he was expected to play a key role in their campaign this season.
His departure from the Porcupines, has been quickly filled by the Garden City club with the capture of Ugandan international Steven Dese Mukuala.
Asante Kotoko will be in action later today as they host the champions of Burkina Faso RC Kadiogo in a second leg African Champions League game in Kumasi.
The Ghanaian champions, lead 1-0 from the first leg tie played in Cotonou, Benin last Monday, and they are a sure bet to advance to the next stage of the competition.
