Kwame Baffoe also known as Abronye DC, the Bono Regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party made allegations against the former president of the Republic John Dramani Mahama some few days ago.
The gentleman seemed to be at loggerheads with the former gentleman and claimed that in 2013, a whopping GHC14 million was paid as ex-gratia with an additional end-of-service package to the tune of GHC15.6 million since he was voted out of office.
In a hot minute, Mr. John Dramani Mahama debunked the allegations in an interview he granted and stated plainly that he only receives his monthly pension salary like all other former heads of state. He urged the public to disregard these unfounded assertions.
Fast forward, Bernard Oduro Takyi, aka BOT an entrepreneur and politician who hails from the same Bono region has indicated how disappointed he is with the NPP chairman. He seemed all fired up about the allegations made against Mr. Mahama.
Appearing on the show “ABRANAA SO” this morning, the gentleman labeled Abronye as a “disgrace” to the Bono people and revealed that the plot against Mr. Mahama has backfired. This scheme has rather exposed to the International community that we don’t take good care of our former President well.
“Abronye set out to destroy Mahama but failed. Be wise, you do not have the moral right to act that way,” he concluded.
