The GH¢2.6 Billion Initiative Has Generated GH¢50 Billion Worth Of Farm Produce; Dr. Akoto Reveals

The Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has revealed the most important information about the initiative income that agriculture department has generated as a result of 2.6 billion Ghana cedis investment.

According to Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, the government of Ghana made an investment of 2.6 billion Ghana cedis into agriculture initiative projects. And due to hard work, submission and determination on the part of the ministry of agriculture, a huge amount of Ghana billion cedis have been made.

This 2.6 billion Ghana cedis was invested in agriculture in order to ensure that all the fields of agriculture in the country in terms of farm produce such as, tomatoes, okro, onion, pepper, plantain and many more other crops or plants yield more income for the country, Ghana at the end of it’s harvest. And this has happened, Ghana has made it huge through agriculture.

To be honest with you, the initiative has been able to generate an amount of 50 billion Ghana cedis worth of farm produce.
