Nsotreman Football Club posted their first ever victory in Ghanaian top-flight football history with a 1-0 win over Bibiani Gold Stars this afternoon.
This Ghana betPawa Premier League Matchday Two encounter, was played at the Nana Amoah Koramansah II Stadium at Nsoatre where a good home crowd gathered to witness this encounter as they anticipated the win.
A second half penalty covered by Samuel Ofori, won all three points for the home side as they played their first ever game in the top-flight of Ghana football.
The atmosphere at the match venue was a charged one for the home fans who supporting their home favourites to the fullest on their debut appearance in the Ghana Premier League.
Nsoatreman FC were due to play champions Asante Kotoko in their opening league game last weekend, but, the game was postponed to make way for Kotoko’s African Champions League game.
Nsoatreman FC will hope to build on this performance going forward as they hope to remain a top-flight side after this campaign.
