Ghana Black Stars poster boy, Mohammed Kudus has been in red hot form this season. The attacker has scored 6 goals from 9 games this season and has won back to back man of the match awards for his performance.
He also scored a spectacular goal against Liverpool in the Champions League match this week.
Coach Alfred Schreuder has been full of praise for the Ghanaian attacker even though the player tried to force a move out of the club before the closure of the summer transfer window. The player has since been deployed as a false nine in the attack and this has been the reason for his impressive performance.
Ajax’s coach in a press interview said “I did say to him: don’t start thinking: oh dear, the trainer no longer sees me as a midfielder. It is not like that. But I am charmed by him in the front”.
Kudus will hope he can stay fit and help the Black Stars during the World Cup in Qatar later this year. The player is also part of the squad that will face Brazil and Nicaragua later this month.
