After a hectic response from the opposition party leader former President John Dramani Mahama in an all prepared interview on Ghana’s most popular Nationwide media broadcasting channel, the news writers have represented some disheartening headlines about the interviews.
Alfred Ocansey who hosted the incoming president had all evident at hand to indicate the speeches made by the Flag bearer. His Excellency was asked among other what benefits and privileges he mostly enjoys as a former president and if any said 14 million Ghana cedis was paid into his account by the incumbent government.
In the former President’s response, He was only paid his salary arrears from 2013 till he left office which his bank statement was available for cross checking. He further stated how he takes care of all his medical bills, utility bills, travel expenses and other minimal expenses one should take care of. He was actually supposed to enjoy this benefits from the government just like the host of other former presidents do enjoy such as Former president John Kuffour and late president Jerry John Rawlings.
Kevin Taylor has captured the media general’s blog post indicating that he John Mahama claimed to pay his bills which sounded like a raw unchecked fact made by the latter. Descending on the broadcasting media, he told them to either analysis the fact or otherwise ask for evidence of his payment before posting such headlines on their websites.
Kevin Taylor has been recently critising the Ghanaian media about their performances and how the NPP government have bought them in times of news delivery and government expositions.
