Ghana Duo – Daniel Kofi-Kyereh & Kwabena Owusu Show Class In Europa League, While Osman Bukari Flops

Made their second debut in the UEFA Europa League – Ghanaian duo Daniel Kofi-Keyereh and Kwabena Owusu showed class today in their respective teams’ success.

Kofi-Kyereh who lasted until 62nd as his first start in the competition following improved minutes in the Bundesliga last week’s -performance was very satisfactory – came up with an assist in SC Freiburg’s big win against Olympiacos.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder starred in the lead role with Michael Gregoritsch whom he assisted in their won 3-0 win.

Kwabena Owusu, on other hand, was on the score sheet for Azerbaijan giants Qarabag FK – played the role of a striker – opened the scoring charts in their 3-0 victory from home against FC Nantes.

Kasim Adams also showed promising defensive plays in FC Basel’s backline – guided their lone goal at the expense of Lithuanian side FK Zalgiris as visitors.

While, a record summer signing for Serbian giants FK Crvena zvevda, Osman Bukari and his comrades did not see light at the end of the tunnel in their trip to Trabzonspor as they were beaten by 2-1.

The 23-year-old sighted 70 minutes before he was substituted with goalscorer Veljko Nikolic.

Left-back Patrick Kpozo also suffered disappointing results as host to Manchester United on 2-0 score-line.
