The Ghana Black Stars will face Brazil on the 23rd September as part of preparations for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar later this year.
The two teams first met at the World Cup in 2006 with the Brazilian side being the most dominant in the game. The match ended 3-0 in favour of the Brazilian side that included legendary names like Ronaldo (R9), Ronaldinho and Cafu.
The match will be a real test for the Black Stars as the Brazilian side have been rated as one of the favourites to win the world cup this year.
Ahead of the games, Coach Otto Addo released a 29 squad list that has received criticism from Ghanaians. In the list is Benjamin Tetteh, a striker for Hull City who has produced some fine displays this season.
According to reports, the player is currently injured and has been ruled out of the friendly matches that are due to be played later this month.
Sources close to the Black Stars technical team indicate that Mubarak Wakaso could be the replacement for the injured player in the squad list.
