Which Figure Of Speech Is: “I’m Not Sure She Was Deported?” – Raymond Ablorh Raises Many Questions

A Journalist and a former manager at Airtel Ghana, Raymond Ablorh has quizzed the specific figure of speech for President Akufo-Addo’s comment that he is not sure if Aisha Huang was deported.

His questions comes as a background to the President’s comment that, he is not sure whether Aisha Huang was deported or not. Following that, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah defended that, what the president said is a figure of speech.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, 14th September 2022, he wrote;

Which figure of speech is: “I’m not sure she was deported. She may have fled”, King Charles’ English teacher? If you aren’t sure a suspected criminal in your custody has been deported by you or has fled, then, what kind of person are you?”

He asked Akufo-Addo yo summon the National Security Minister, Interior Minister, Immigration Chief, Police Chief and Attorney General to answer these questions bearing in mind she’s a suspected criminal in their custody:

1. Was she deported?

2. When was she deported?

3. Who escorted her?

4. Was the Chinese Government informed about her deportation; if yes, when were they informed?

5. Did the Chinese government informed them of her arrival in China?

6. When did she arrive?

7. How did she return without our entire security system detecting it?”

Raymond Ablorh lamented that this issue is a very serious scandal that would get some people lose their jobs elsewhere. Akufo-Addo’s administration is so disappointing to say the least. Is this the Ghana that is working again?

He quizzed if these are the men that NPP said they have? When you suggest that the president reshuffles or change some of the dead woods of appointees too, he says no, they’re performing exceptionally well that he needn’t change them.

“To be blunt, Akufo-Addo’s Presidency is one of the biggest mistakes Ghanaians have made in the 4th Republic. He’s only good at capturing state institutions and manipulating them to serve his interest.” Raymond Ablorh concluded .
