When John Mahama Explains Why He Always Carries A Flash We Will Explain Nana’s Chair – NPP Panelist

Yesterday news broke that United Kingdom authorities have issued a statement that all heads of state that intend to fly into the country for the Queen’s funeral must come on commercial planes and then join a coach to be transported to the funeral grounds. Helicopters have also been banned from being used by these world leaders. They will have to wait to be conveyed to the church. Again the leaders also can be with only one partner or escort.

Many Ghanaian reacted and questioned if President Akufo-Addo will be attending the funeral since he likes to fly in private jets to events. Here is the case the presidential jet is in France for repairs for about 4 months. Many wonder how the president will attend.

On TV3’s The Big Issue today, Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Edudzi Tamakloe, a member of the NDC Legal Team called for an embargo on the use of the presidential chair on travels. He said the ban of private jets was because of Ghana and said the chair the president carries should also be banned.

Ernest Kumi, a parliamentary candidate for the NPP in Akwatia however disagreed. According to him Mahama has a lot to answer with regards to the flasks he has been carrying to programmes. Ernest questioned what was in the flask that former president Mahama carried with him. He noted that when John Mahama explains why he carries the flask the NPP will also explain the chair that Akufo-Addo carries.

Berla tried to argue that drinking flasks are small and not noticeable but Mr. Kumi insisted that the chair carried by the president is also for security purposes and as such worth the expenses made on it. Which of the two is worth the argument? Mahama’s drinking flask or Akufo-Addo’s chair? Is there something strange about Mahama’s drinking flask?
