The Ghana Black Stars are set to feature in a friendly match against Brazil and Nicaragua as part of preparations for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Ahead of the games, Coach Otto Addo has released a 29 man squad list for the two games. However, due to injury concerns, some of the players have reportedly withdrawn from the squad.
According to football experts, Mubarak Wakaso has been listed as one of the potential replacements should a number of the players withdraw from the squad.
The midfielder has been criticized in the past for poor performance and the fact that he had been without a club for a long period of time but still found a way into the squad somehow.
The midfielder made his debut for Belgian side Eupen over the weekend and showed signs of his former self in the game. It is hoped that if he keeps himself fit, he could be part of the squad for the world cup in November.
