Lawyer Ralph Agyapong, junior brother of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has reacted to the ongoing discussions on social media about what Togbe Afede did to his brother few days ago.
Speaking on Okay FM this morning, the lawyer made it clear that Kennedy Agyapong was indeed invited to the festival. He added that Kennedy Agyapong was invited because he was the Board Chairman of Ghana Gas . This means that Kennedy Agyapong came to the festival because of his position in the Ghana Gas Company and not because of his name.
“My brother was invited as the board chairman of Ghana Gas. The name was specifically mentioned as Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Board Chairman of Ghana Gas. So he went there in his capacity as the board chair of Ghana Gas through the invitation of Asogli. But they have responded and they are also saying that it is a laugh. I don’t quite get them” he said.
Speaking about the issue, Lawyer Ralph Agyapong revealed that the peron who signed the letter of invitation should be questioned. He added that the person must be questioned on whether or not he informed Togbe Afede before he invited Kennedy Agyapong. This is because he does not expect Togbe Afede to do such thing to his brother if he truly invited him.
“Who invited Kennedy Agyapong in the first place. Did the person failed to contact Togbe Afede before he invited Kennedy Agyapong. The person who signed and wrote the letter must be questioned on whether or not he was told Togbe Afede before inviting Kennedy Agyapong. If he indeed told Togbe Afede about the invitation, what was his response” he questioned.

This comes after Kennedy Agyapong sent a homage gift to Ho on Friday for Togbe Afede XIV, the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State as part of the ongoing Yam Festival. However, the gift. was rejected. This has generated several reactions on social media because reports reveal that Kennedy Agyapong was indeed invited for the program.
