Leaders in Ghana and Africa at large have been criticized for poor performance in Government. One of the greatest challenges for the leaders in Ghana has to do with corruption and the means of amassing wealth for themselves and their family members.

According to Captain Smart, hatred and dislike can be found in our leaders and this have led to the dethroning and death of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. According to Captain Smart, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was overthrown by his people as a result of hatred and yet they did not perform better than Kwame Nkrumah.
