News coming in indicates that President Akufo Addo has finally commissioned the Aflao Community Day School which was started by former president John Dramani Mahama.
This project became a topic in the country because the Chief of Aflao complained severally about how the project has been abandoned by this administration. The president even made a comment about the chief’s statement and urged him to complete the project himself.
After the statement, President Akufo-Addo assured the traditional leader that his government is ready to continue the projects started by his predecessor. He even stressed that plans are being executed to complete the projects.
The project has been commissioned today, Tuesday, 13th September, 2022. The building, according to report was 90 percent complete in 2016. It has some 26 classrooms and five departments, a science block.Â

Most Ghanaians have heaped praises on both John Mahama and President Akufo Addo for building this facility for the people of Aflao. Some have also heaped praises on the Chief for putting ‘pressure’ on the government to complete and commission the building
