Within 6 Years Nana Addo Has Constructed An Additional 231km To The Eastern Corridor Road

Since Morning, I have been left in awe, the level of first class infrastructural project you will see in the Volta Region.

Let me first leave the Legendary Eastern Corridor Road here , the rest will follow later.

So Eastern Corridor Road (Asikuma-Gbintri) is a Grand Total of 497km in length. Since independence, successive Government managed to construct only 135km representing 27%. 

The Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s Government in 6 years has constructed an additional 231km to the Eastern Corridor Road moving it to a whopping 76% of the Road now in very good Condition.

All Governments since 1992 with all their efforts put together, can still not meet up to what this New Patriotic Party Government has done and contractors are still on every stretch of the Road. 

Standing here in Kpando at the Durbar of Chiefs and People of the Akpini State, I am near tears watching H.E the President, seeing what it is he has achieved in such a short time under such unprecedented conditions in the world.
