A renowned spiritual scientist, traditionalist and herbalist from Kedzikope, a suburb of Keta in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region has burnt his idols and magical powers and turned to Christ for salvation and direction.
The destruction of the items of self-acclaimed Professor Torgbui Amuzu was carried out on Saturday in front of his Gbetsele residence near Michel Camp in the Ashaiman Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
The event which was witnessed by a number of residents within the Gbetsele community was executed by a six-member team of selected Pastors and Evangelists led by Apostle Paul Asare Agbebo, Founder and Head Pastor of the Living Word Teaching Ministry at Ashaiman Roman Down.
Prayers, songs of praise, words of exhortation and some anointing service preceded the supervised burning of the idols, magical powers and their related regalia.
He has since been baptized into the Christian faith.
