Our President Won’t Come; Take Your Funeral – A Plus Reacts To Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral Statement

Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has jovially commented that Ghana’s President will not attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, following the statement issued by Britain.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page, A Plus shared a caption from the Telegram news paper showing that there is a ban on the use of private jet for the queen’s funeral.

According to a publication made by the Telegram, Foreign heads of state and their partners attending the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II have been asked to arrive in the UK on commercial flights and have been banned from using private jets or helicopters to move around the capital.

In addition, they have been told they will not be able to use their own official cars to attend the funeral, scheduled for Monday 19 September, but will instead be bussed to Westminster Abbey from a site in west London.

Few months ago President Akufo-Addo came to lime light for his regular travel in luxurious private jets. The member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has always reveals the details of the president’s private jet travels.

Okudzeto Ablakwa has always been advocating that, President Akufo-Addo should travel with Ghana’s presidential jet instead of hiring luxurious jets.

Reactions To A Plus Post

“Akufo-Addo is preparing budget for his traveling to the Queen’s funeral. He thought it a place to show guy guy with his luxurious jet. Alas, the old man wouldn’t attend the funeral.” A user said.

“They took that decision because of Akufo Addo. They knew he will come with private jet loaded family members.” A user wrote.

“These people have an agenda against our president and it will not stand. We will go to the court of unanimous judgment.” Another user jokingly said.
