Host of With All Due Respect Show on Loud Silence TV, Kevin Taylor has reacted to the recent statement and allegation which was made by Kwame Baffoe Abronye about John Mahama’s retirement benefits.
In Kevin Taylor’s recent post on Facebook, he made it clear that people only talk about John Mahama’s retirement package anytime he(John Mahama) criticises the Akufo Addo led government. According to him, those people who usually talk about the retirement benefits John Mahama received have failed to also talk about what John Agyekum Kuffour, who happens to be a former president received as his retirement package.
“The only time people talk about the Presidential Retirement package is when John Mahama Critique Akufo Addo. Meanwhile, whatever Package is available to Mahama as ex-President has been available to Kufuor since 2009. I want to know has Kufuor been taking Gari and Beans as a Retirement package ? Because it looks like it’s only an issue when Mahama takes the package and not Kuffour” he said.

From the reactions above, some Ghanaians seems to be in favour of what Kevin Taylor said. They believe that such persons are being hypocritical.
This comes after the Bono regional Chairman of the NPP revealed that the former first gentleman of the land, John Mahama received GH¢14 million as ex-gratia in 2013. He further accused John Mahama Mahama of also enjoying other end-of-service benefits amounting to GH¢15.6 since 2017.
