Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to face CAF Champions League opponents, RC Kadiogo in Benin behind closed doors today.
The match that was scheduled to take place last Friday was pushed to Monday because of a venue change and the two clubs are finally set to play the match today.
The Porcupines have been rated as favourites to win the match ahead of their counterparts. The team has seen strong additions and have done enough preparations by facing strong CAF Champions League opponents in their pre-season.
Although the porcupine warriors will be without their star player, Franck Etouga, who has been ruled out with injury, there is still hope that the task to qualify can be done.
The return leg will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday. It is hoped that the Kumasi based club will advance into the money zone of the CAF Champions League this season.
