2022/23 Bundesliga Team of the Week After Round 6

Another exciting week in the Bundesliga, here is the Team of the Week updates after round 6 based on the highest-scored statistics.

Goalkeeper

Rafal Gikiewicz (Augsburg)

Seven impressive saves of which 6 came from inside the box and a pole penalty stop in an injury-time to secure a 1-0 win against Werder Bremen, no other goalkeeper was more outstanding than the 34-year-old Polish international this week.

Defenders

Noussair Mazraoui (Bayern), Maxence Lacroix (Wolfsburg), Willi Orban (RB Leipzig), Tobias Mohr (Schalke)

Great vision from the right-back earned him an assist in VfB Stuttgart’s 2-2 draw alongside a remarkable pass accuracy of 93.4%, Mazraoui made his first feature in the team of the week -equilibrium with Mohr who was on top of his game in Schalke’s 3-1 win over Bochum in the left-back -contribute with an assist to secure their first win of the season.

Solid delivery from the central force in Wolfsburg’s 1-0 win as visitors, Lacroix pairs Orban who also made the score-sheet.

Midfielders

Kerem Demirbay (Leverkusen), Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Leipzig), Jude Bellingham (Dortmund)

Opened the score chart on their trip to Hertha Berlin, Demirbay’s classic midfield display pairs him with RB Leipzig’s two goals contributor- Szoboszlai [a goal and an assist] and Bellingham, whose statistics were very satiable – 7 tackles, 6 dribble attempts, and 16 won ground duels.

Forwards

Jamal Musiala (Bayern, Vincenzo Grifo (Freiburg), Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart).

Made the score sheet as rivals this week – Guirassy leads in forward, while Musiala attacks from the wings along with Grifo – who registered the most key passes of 6 than any other player.
