Social media [Facebook] is currently having a buzz over the meeting between the former president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and the incumbent Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Former President John Dramani Mahama and His Excellency the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia came to contact when they attended the funeral of Dr. Siaw’s father last funeral rite.
The photos circulating on all social media platforms have left Ghanaians in total shock and awe, the two politicians [Dr. Bawumia and John Dramani Mahama] hugged each other as they cheerful carved out smiles to each other in a symbolic peaceable manner.
They were very happy to have met on that occasion. Another interesting aspect of their meeting was that they were all in white apparel.
These are how Ghanaians wholly reacted:
• It’s so beautiful and pleasing to see pictures like this, they indirectly like each other per where they both belong to. Never take this pic for granted we all know how Papa Jay and Nana cordial relationship before Papa passed on.
• Youth, we have a big role to play as citizens to drive this country onto a path we wanted if we become serious and patriotic, politicians will also take us seriously and do the needful.
• Politicians are family behind the scene. And act like enemies on our screens. But the youths are fighting each other just to defend and support themselves.
• It’s all mind games, if we could think and advise ourselves it will help them understand themselves because they know they are playing with our conscience. It’s time the Ghanaian youth sits down and structure themselves. Don’t trust any politician.Â
