It is not surprising that Assemblies of God Church conducted its elections and handed the baton of the General superintendent position to Reverend Dr Wengam.
Many Ghanaians, the former President John Mahama, have reacted to the handing over.
The former president is a staunch member of the Assemblies of God Church. He has consistently proven his commitment to the things of the church.
On Sunday, 11th September 2022, the former president dropped a post on Reverend Dr Wengam.
In the post,former president John Dramani Mahama congratulated the Reverend Minister for his new role as the General superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church Ghana.
He commended the leadership of the church as well as the former General superintendent of the church, Reverend Professor Paul Frimpong Manso for the successful elections and transition to a new administration.
Former President Mahama’s post has attracted massive amount of reactions from the length and breadth of the country.
Rev Dr Wengam has been overwhelmingly applauded for his impact on his radio ministrations. Other Ghanaians have spoken so highly of the Reverend Minister describing him as “deserving of his new upliftment”.
