There are several avenues where peoples meet to discuss issues about life and businesses. Other meetings call for deliberate ceremonies either to mourn with the bereaved family or to celebrate. We have come across a photo of the former president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and the incumbent Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. According to the report we have gathered from one of the media houses in Ghana popularly known as UTV, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and His Excellency the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia came to contact when they visited the funeral grounds of Dr Siaw father’s final funeral rite.
From the photos circulating on all social media platforms, the two politicians ( Dr Bawumia and John Dramani Mahama) hugged each other as they render cheerful smile to each other. They were very happy to have met at that occasion. Another interesting aspect of their meeting was that, they were all in white apparel.
Other politicians the Current Speaker of Parliament, Honorable Kingsford Alban Bagbin was also spotted in the picture as he was gazing with a smile when Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and John Dramani Mahama exchanged pleasantries.
Ghanaians after seeing the photos of the two prominent figures, reacted in various ways. Others reacted to the smile from the Speaker of Parliament Kingsford Bagbin whilst others were busy talking about how the former President John Dramani Mahama ruled Ghanaians from 2012 to 2016 and how Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his Boss Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo are rulling Ghana ( from 2016 till date).
One key factor to learn from Dr Bawumia’s encounter with John Mahama is love and peace. Despite their party differences, peace and Love was their hallmark. No chance for hatred. Politicians must also learn same.
