Marriage as defined by scholars, is the union between a matured man and a woman who have agreed to stay and live as husband and wife till death.
The journey of marriage is always said to be long. Therefore, it is advisable to every single man or woman to plan well before engaging in marriage.

3. Don’t marry because you become pregnant outside marriage. This is why you must stay away from pre-marital sex.
4. Don’t marry because you don’t want to lose the person. When you marry someone that is not putting the same efforts into your relationship as much as you do, you may regret getting married to him/her
5. Don’t marry because of pressures from family and friends. So many people have made marital errors and lost their lives because of pressure
6. Don’t marry because you like the idea of marriage and admire every wedding you see.
7. Don’t marry because all your friends areg gettingmarried, but get married because you want to fulfil destiny and help your partner to fulfil God’s purpose for his/her life
8. Get married because you want to be a help mate to an imperfect person who loves and accepts you for who you are, not who you pretend to be.
9. Get married because you are ready physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, financially, etc when you are convinced in your spirit that, it is time.
10. Get married because you are ready to build a kingdom marriage that will be a model and draw men to God
