The thing is working, the queues at the registration point are an obvious vindication of your stance, that indeed, some of us have the card but just decided not to register. Please carry on, you are doing well for Ghana.
There are some genuine challenges though, some complaints of having registered but still blocked. Looks like an unsuccessful process with the initial one, please, start cracking the whip on the telcos and call them to order so they get their acts together. We don’t like that.
Some complaints of not having the Ghana Card that’s a legitimate complaints because truly, some of our people have not yet received their cards.
Let’s do some quick sit around the table and let’s find some technology to get this category into a separate bucket so they don’t suffer the blocking cos it’s not their fault.
Apart from that, all these people who are out now and in the queues had since our last press conference to register but never did thinking our typical Ghana self will extend again.Â
We claimed we didn’t have the Ghana card but when you blocked us, we now have the Ghana card. We could have done it without stress but we chose stress, you didn’t choose this for us.
Our digital space will be better secured, our financial space will safe, our economy will be improved and our safety will be improved.Â
