While in the United States of America, multiple national identification documents are used for this process, the Government of Ghana seems to be so reluctant to use that means, amidst the challenges the process has produced.
As we speak, some Ghanaians with genuine concerns are finding it difficult to make anf receive calls. With the current economic hardship, leading to the collapse of many small businesses, this new development has doubled it, posing extreme challenges to businesses in the country.
Responding to this troubling phenomenon, Kofi Kapito, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Consumer Protection (GCP), seems extremely worried about the situation and more importantly, the plights of Ghanaians who have been affected by it.
He went further by saying that, Parliamentarians do not listen to Ghanaians before passing out laws, so they make laws that no not make sense.
