A lady by the name of Jennifer from Ntonsu Aboaso retells what happened after she helped her friend to print T-shirt for free S.H.S program two years ago. According to the lady Dennis Amofa has been her best friend for quite some time. The two have been doing printing of T.Shirt business and has also been helping each for a long time. One day Dennis told her that he has got a contract to make 6,000 T-Shirt a free S.H.S parade programme in Kumasi but he was not having enough money to print all those T-shirts.
Dennis pleaded with her to help him to print the T-Shirt with her money, he promised to give the money back to her a month later. Jennifer said she took her savings of an amount of GH45,000 and printed the 6,000 pieces of the T-shirts for her friend. After the programme Amofa didn’t pay back her money, she continued to asked him about when he will pay back her money but the man told her that he has not been paid.
She patiently waited for him for seven months but she didn’t hear from her best friend again, she became upset and got him arrested. Amofa then revealed to her that it was Honourable Dennis Kwakwa, the Communications Director for NPP in Kumasi gave him the contract to make that T-shirt for the programme but he has not been paid. Jennifer added that they contacted Honourable Kwakwa to find the truth about what her friend told, he too admitted that he gave him the contract.
He gave her a promised to pay all her money within few days but she didn’t hear from any of them after Amofa was released from the police station. Few months ago, Honourable Kwakwa brought her GHC10,000 but she didn’t accept. The lady said her lawyer advised her to take the money which she did. After she accepted the money, she didn’t get any money from her friend again. Jennifer claims that it has been two years since she did that work for Amofa but she has not gotten the money she invested it.
The lady is pleading with Amofa to give back her money. According to Amofa, it is true that he ordered his friend to supply him 6,000 pieces of T-shirts and promised to pay her money in month later but he couldn’t fulfilled his promise. The man said Honourable Kwakwa didn’t pay him the money he supposed to get from the work they did, he only paid only GHC10,000 out of the GHC45,000 few months ago.
