Ghanaians have been disappointed in President Akufo Addo’s administration because the expectations he created for them have not been met, this is according to Right Rv. Dr. Richard Owusu affectionately called Prophet Papa Rich.
He is of the view that the then flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should have created room for Ghanaians to doubt his ability to deliver rather than making them over-expect.

“At any time you are given a responsibility, people will doubt your capacity but that is the beauty of it. Let people always doubt you. If people over-expect, they will be disappointed and that is what is happening to Nana Akufo-Addo.

“He created an expectation in people and the people are disappointed because he has not been able to meet their realistic expectations of the people. It is even a strategy of warfare, let your enemy underestimate you”, he said on Sunday, 4th September 2022 on the pulpit of Jesus Favour Chapel International.
According to the opinionated man of God, following the words of Nana Akufo Addo before the presidency, Ghanaians thought Akufo Addo will rule or manage the affairs of the nation just like Kwame Nkrumah, however, he has disappointed everyone.

“The campaign messages of Akufo Addo were powerful, addictive and convincing. He vowed to protect the public purse and persecute corrupt officials including Alfred Agbesi Woyome. But all those who have stolen huge money from the country are still alive. This is a big disappointment Nana Addo..”, Prophet Papa Richie stated.
