Coach Seydou Zerbo of Asante Kotoko has named a 21-man travelling team for the upcoming 2022/23 CAF Champions League preliminary round match.
The Porcupine Warriors have travelled to Benin for the opening round of the tournament, where they will face off against RC Kadiogo of Burkina Faso.
The game, originally slated to take place in Ivory Coast at the Stade Yamoussoukro, will instead be played in Cotonou, Benin, at the General Mathieu Kérékou Friendship Stadium.
According to CAF, the game will now be played on Monday, 12th September 2022.

The Ghanaian champions departed the shores of Ghana on Thursday morning with a squad comprised of three goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and six strikers. Managers and technical staff are also mentioned.

The club’s last season’s top-scorer Frank Mbella, Thomas Pele, Eric Zeze, Stephen Amankona, Augustine Agyapong and Rocky Dwamena are not part of the travelling squad to Benin to face RC Kadiogo for obvious reasons.
