Three Ghanaian Players Play For Clubs In UEFA Champions League Opening Games With A Rating Of 8.2

Three Ghanaian players have had the opportunity to play in the opening matches of UEFA Champions League for their respective clubs. The three players are Kudus Mohammed, Dennis Odoi and Kamal Sowah.

Kudus Mohammed was in action when Ajax hosted Rangers. He started as the lead striker for Ajax, scoring and assisting on the night. Kudus Mohammed was awarded man of the match and making an audacious mark for Ajax. The Black Stars midfielder had a rating of 8.2 according to SofaScore.

Dennis Odoi was an active player for Club Brugge when they played Bayern Leverkusen. The game ended a lone goal for Club Brugge and Dennis Odoi has a rating of 7.1.

In the same Club Brugge, winger Kamal Sowah was in action as they defeated Leverkusen. He had a rating of 6.7.

Kudus Mohammed and Dennis Odoi are part of Ghana’s squad for September friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
