The Former Roads and Highways Minister, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has once again reacted to the conviction of his son in the USA for money laundering and fraud.
Speaking on Okay FM this morning, the former law maker made it clear that his son is responsible for every action he takes. He added that he took his son to the United States to school there so that he can bring the knowledge he has acquired in the US to Ghana. He added that he didn’t send his son to do any other thing aside schooling in the United States. For this reason, his son is responsible for every action he has taken.
“My son is 31 years and he is responsible for every action he takes. I gave him simple institutions; Go to America, go and learn and come back to Ghana to help the country. Whatever problems that you have, let me know so that if I can help, I will do it. I didn’t give him any other job. If he mingles with the whites and falls in trouble, then it’s his own cup of tea. He is not a child. He is 31 years. I married his mother at his age” he said.
The host of show, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese asked him whether he believes that his son really did what he is alleged to have done. Honorable Fuseini replied and revealed that he does not believe that his son will ever do such a thing but he is worried because he mingled with people who do fraud activities.
“He is my son, and I love him so much. That is why I said I am disappointed. I’m the one who supported him to be somebody in future but I didn’t give him that responsibility. However, I don’t believe that my son has done what he is alleged to have done but my worry is his association with people who do that” he added
