Following the recent rearrest of Aisha Huang, a Chinese immigrant who has in her possession the biometric Ghana card, many are unhappy, especially those who haven’t received their cards and enquired as to how a foreigner could gain access to it.
Official information which emanated earlier about this said lady’s involvement in illegal mining seemed to have suggested that she was deported and banned from entering the country. How she re-emerged at our border and reportedly acquired a Ghana card, is baffling.
Many are calling for the authorities to deal with her and her apprehension is a ray of sunshine for Ghanaians who feared the illicit activities she is involved in will leave lasting damage on water bodies and forest reserves.
It is on record that not all those who registered have received their Ghana card and surprisingly a foreigner can acquire one.
